“Claude recommended you – indirectly.”
Excuse me, whaaat?

I have a coaching prospect on the phone.

“Yeah, I told Claude what’s going through my mind and after a while it suggested it would be best to work with a professional. It explicitly said it should be a business coach who’s also a psychologist. That’s how I found you.”

Ok, wow. I’m not used to that level of ethics in an LLM. Are you?

Usually, it very – very – confidently walks you through your thoughts until you really believe that the conflict you had at work was 100% your colleague’s fault – because, I mean, you had your reasons, right?

It’s not the first time people run things by their AI husband or AI wife before they get in touch with me:

“I talked to ChatGPT about it and it said that this might have something to do with my inner child.”
“I asked ChatGPT to summarize my situation and I’d like to read this out loud to you:…”
“I’ve shared this with Copilot and the results were very interesting, so these would be my topics…”

And in the end?

My clients get the difference between an LLM and a human.
