How do YOU want to show up in life? 🧐
I once joined a jam session. I sat in the front row, my saxophone resting in my lap. While I waited for my next turn, I watched the musicians on stage – a mixed group of people creating something together in real time. I was fun!
Later that night, it hit me.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all – and by that, I really meant everyone on this earth – interacted the way those musicians did on stage?
Isn’t that how I want to show up in life and at work?
The thought felt so true in both my body and mind – yet I couldn’t quite pin down what it meant. So I started my journey to figure this out.
By then, I already had a degree in psychology and several years of coaching behind me. I also had 20+ years of stage experience – performing with the flute, singing in a choir, and playing the saxophone in all sorts of combos and big bands.
It was time to bring them together: the psychologist, the musician, and the coach.
Welcome to this new series, where I share
- How I think about coaching
- How I combine science & creativity
- What this actually looks like in my practice
We’ll explore my overall attitude and approach, the underlying framework and theory, and finally, the concrete methods I use. I’m so unbelievably excited to share this with you!
