Leader A has learned to be decisive and directive. They come with the agenda, assign tasks to certain people, make it crystal clear to go left and never right. 50% of the room appreciates the clarity and direction.

Leader B has learned to be inclusive and participative. They ask for everyone’s opinion, fear conflict, and seek full consensus before taking the next step. 50% of the room appreciates the harmony and culture.

So in reality, the room is split. Half wanting structure and guidance, half wanting to be seen and heard. Some want both.
